This Girl Named Brooklyn

So I know this girl named Brooklyn and she and I are what you can call sisters from different misters, besties, mormon cheerleaders..... etc. But really, she's one of the best things that has ever happened to me. She and I have been through everything together from running into river banks, battling mosquitos, doing fun things in rivers, walking around a campsite for hours, greiving deaths and just plain laughing.  She is my other half and I never want to lose her. Ever. Shewill be in/at my wedding she will be the first person I call when I find out anything super exciting! She will be the person I call to cry to when my heart gets broken. She is the most wonderful thing you could ever ask for in a best friend. She is Brooklyn and I'm so happy for that. <3

Family

So. In my very first post I called my family crazy and INSANE. Truth be told, they are crazy sometimes and sometimes annoying but I love them so much and I wouldn't have my family any other way. My parents are so strong in keeping us safe and turning us into wonderful people. THey have raised us well. My brother, Pete is so nice and is definitely the peacemaker of the family. Emma is sweet and hilarious. Besides myself, she is the most outgoing person I have ever met. So to sum it up, I love my family SO much and I never want to think of us being apart.

Bauders Pharmacy and Soda Fountain

Today was super fun-as a summer day with the family should be! My dad's ac went out-again-last night so my mom drove him to work. We decided to have lunch and went to this little place called Bauders. I'm honestly not positive if its Bauders or Bauder's.... Oh well. The food was diner food with good sandwiches and store bought chips. I didn't mind. The Chocolate Malt was to die for. They sell ice cream in pints and quarts and that is super yummy, too... All together a fun time!!! GO TO BAUDERS!!!! (BAUDER'S) YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!

Young Women/Young Men Combined

Yesterday was also our Young Women/Young Men combined activity. The YM were in charge and decided to go to Skyzone. My friends have all talked about this numerous times saying, "OH! Its so fun!" and "I could do it forever!" AND NOW!!!! THE GAME OF 1 TRUTH AND 1 LIE!!! The truth was that it really was fun!! I enjoyed myself. The lie is that they could do it forever. After about ten minutes, all the girls were beat. I was breathing heavy and my oncoming cold didn't help at all. Bleh. Skyzone itself is a nice facility with one big area with trampoline squares, two dodge balls courts, 4 lanes of 2 trampoline squares where you could jump into foam pits,  (I LOVE FOAM PITS!!!!) and finally a little kid area for children under 5. You had to wear special shoes, too. Don't ask me why! I have no foot fungus! However, they do not require the under 5 kids to wear shoes. Do small children not get foot fungus? I'll have to look into that...

So yesterday was a very, VERY lazy day considering we just got back from our Summer Family Vacation. This year we decided to go to Colorado because we are saving up to go to Germany to see my aunt next summer. We have family in Colorado and they were generous enough to offer up their home for my crazy family to sleep in. We did tons of stuff including go to Rocky Mountain National Park, visit a restaurant that not only Guy Fieri went to for Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, but President Obama went there, as well. (Pictures to come soon.) We stopped to see my grandparents on the way up and on the way back, since my INSANE family couldn't last a 10.5 hour car ride together. It was all fun and I couldn't have asked for a better vacation. Although Disney World would've been nice. :)
